PCS with kids — official first

School rules are local. We will not invent enrollment windows, shot lists, or compact exceptions. Use School Liaison and MIC3, then add towels and night lights if the house is empty.

What we will not tell you

We will not guess whether a district accepts a compact, how many shots a state wants, or when kindergarten cutoff is. That is the School Liaison’s job.

Empty-house extras

The 72-hour kit already has night lights, towels, and a second pillow. If kids are with you:

• A second sheet set if someone is on the floor or a couch.
• Night lights in the hall and bathroom — already on the kit.
• Do not count on a loan closet having cribs or pack-n-plays the day you arrive. Ask ACS / FFSC / MCCS / Work-Life before you buy.
